Arts Education Program

Providing Arts Education to Community Youth

In 2017, the Peabody Auditorium Foundation launched Youth + Art = Success! - an annual arts education outreach program that provides underserved, low-income youth with the opportunity to attend cultural programs, free of charge, at the Peabody Auditorium.  Complimentary transportation and pre-performance study guides are also provided to participating area schools and community centers.

The Peabody Auditorium Foundation envisions a world where every child has access to and takes part in high quality and lifelong learning experiences in the arts, both in school and in the community.  Students that experience the arts develop critical thinking, collaborative, confidence, problem solving, and creative skills, as well as have better grade point averages, score better on standardized tests in reading and math, and have lower dropout rates - important skills necessary to succeed in our ever changing world.

By supporting the Peabody Auditorium Foundation’s Youth + Art = Success! Program, you will give a child the opportunity to experience the arts and play a role in their lifelong success.  For a little as $50.00, you can help ensure that at least one child will have the opportunity to see the next child-friendly performance at the Peabody.  Please be as generous as you can, the kids are counting on you!

The 2018-2019 Program is sponsored by Jeep Beach, Kohl's Corporation, Wells Fargo Foundation, Women United of Volusia Chapter and generous individuals.
