Biography

Now in their 12th year together, The Wildflowers have become the most successful internationally touring tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Playing all the hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty’s solo music, and even The Traveling Wilburys thrown in for good measure, with such precision, energy, and authentic southern charm, you have to see and hear The Wildflowers to believe it.

Bluefield Acoustic Duo was formed in 2011 and Matt and Tim have had three the pleasure of playing hundreds of shows all around Florida, making a ton of fans and friends along the way!

Matt Fansher and Tim Makrush, both Florida Natives, have been in the local music scene separately for many years. Matt is a classically trained guitarist who has played solo all around central Florida. He possesses smooth vocals reminiscent of Jack Johnson/Dave Matthews with a twist of his own originality. Tim Makrush has been a member of various Duos and bands; He was a founding member of Flatline and even shared billings alongside major acts such as Shinedown. They play a generous selection and great variety of music that has something to offer for all crowds.

• Bandshell box office will be open at 5 p.m.
• Concert venue opens at 5:15 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights during the summer concert series.
• This event has VIP Reserved seating for $15, which includes a chair. General admission is FREE, personal chairs are welcome in the general admission area.
• This show is considered ALL-AGES. We do recommend parental discretion based on the artist content and our bar-like environment.
• No dogs allowed. Service animals are permitted and must remain with its owner and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist.
• No outside alcohol allowed.
• The Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell is 100% wheel chair accessible and does have an ADA section, location varies based on the event set-up. For specific questions please email daytonabandshell@codb.us.
• All concerts at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell are considered RAIN OR SHINE. 
• Umbrellas are strictly prohibited, ponchos are available for purchase. 
• There are no refunds issued if rain is predicted or happens the day of the concert. In the chance of extremely severe weather, cancellations could occur but are rare.  Concert cancellations are announced as early as possible via this website and social media.
